• If you do not wish to change or shower in a gender binary locker room, QuASAR has been offered use of a private shower located in the Swim Center Office.
• Please speak to the employee on duty at the Swim Center. They will ensure the shower room is not in use and offer you access to it.

• If you need help addressing professors and/or TA's regarding appropriate name and pronoun usage, please let us know (quasarnmt@gmail.com). Many are aware and receptive to your needs. We will continue to help advocate on your behalf and are happy to help you formulate requests to your instructors.
• NMT is currently undergoing a process to add a Preferred Name Policy which will make it much easier for students to update their preferred name in one system and have the changes propagate throughout other NMT systems.

If you are traveling for a conference, you have the freedom to choose with whom you room. While some may divide travelers according to binary genders, you are allowed to request your gender identity for rooming situations.
